There are directors, who gets easily carried away by success. But Shankar does not fall on that category. Endhiran's success has not made him to relax as he has already started working on his next project, which is the remake of 3 Idiots. Now, the buzz is that he has roped in actress Ileana for the film.
Mahesh Babu is lead of the movie. Mahesh Babu will be playing Aamir Khan’s role in this movie. Now Prince Mahesh is busy in his upcoming film Dhookudu which is directing by Srinu vytla. After this the telugu 3-Idiots will starts..
Recently Harris Jayaraj announced that the first tune has been given to Shankar for the remake of ‘3 Idiots’.
Harris also tweeted that “The first tune has been given to Shankar for ‘3 Idiots’. The film will have Mahesh Babu in Telugu and Vijay in Tamil”.
Earlier, 3yaar had reported that Ileana is in the race for the role played by Kareena Kapoor in 3 Idiots. Along with her, Trisha Krishnan and Priyamani's names were also doing rounds. But now sources say that the director has signed Ileana for this project.
Ileana will play Vijay's love interest in the film. Actor Sathyaraj will portray Ileana father's role, which was played by Boman Irani in the Hindi version. Reports say that the movies bosses have opted Silambarasan for second fiddle and Jeeva for the third.
