Producer D.V.S.Raju passed away

Senior producer D.V.Raju passed away in the wee hours today, his family informed. The 82 year old producer had been afflicted with health problems for quite some time, and was being treated in Care Hospital, Hyderabad.
D.V.S.Raju is known for his association with legendary actor N.T.R. and making movies like Gandikota Rahasyam, Jayasimha etc. He made around 25 movie which included the likes of President Peramma, Bhanumathi Gari Mogudu , Jeevana Jyothi etc. He had served as the AP Film Chamber President and also as the Chairman of National Film Development Corporation.
Tollywood’s bigwigs like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, C.Narayana Reddy, Thammareddy Bharadwaja etc. visited their family and expressed condolences.
